Hi.
I installed dc++, and can't get it working.
Can I get some help making it work?
Hi all. What I mean is that I got it installed, but can't connect to the network. I used to be able to connect with bear share lite, but it's broken. Is there a site where I can try out torents and such?
Thanks
Bryan Mckinnish.
DC++ doesn't use torrents, it uses hubs, which are large servers that people run so that others can connect to them. There're 2 caviots with dc++, 1, you must be on broadband, at least 128 kb/sec upload, and you must be willing to dedicate 1 single machine as a dc++ client since you have to run it, not 25 7, but pretty close to it, and the more data you share, the rarer and bigger hubs you can get into. hth, ask for any help, and I'll try my best to do so.
